e are a production company specialising in training materials based in Bournemouth looking to increase the ethnic diversity across our productions. This is an open casting for call for black and asian actors of all ages based in the south or southwest of England within a reasonable travelling time of Bournemouth. We have a few audition dates coming up and would like to hear from all of those interested in corporate work. We currently have one shoot taking place at the end of September and we are holding auditions for this and for future work across the year. Good or passable singer, great mover and popular with men. Stunning and sexy, self-obsessed, ruthless and spoiled. EELS: Male, 25-65. Must play an instrument. A drunk, sarcastic and unhappy has-been who lacks willpower. MAXINE: Female, 20-45. Tough and driven, possibly masculine, self-assured character. BLEMMINGS: Male, 30-65. Flushed, blustery, worried, unhappily married man with an eye for the ladies. CONNOR: Male 18-40. Irish. Good looking, adventure seeking man who craves danger and excitement, can be bought and has no morals. Devious, but rather clumsy and simple. Also wanted: Understudies, Male and Female who will, as everyone else, get paid (profit share) per performance played.

COMMERCIAL | CASTING POP MUSICAL TOUR | LONDON - Application ends September 08th

pop musical Bink and The Hairy Fairy. Bink and The Hairy Fairy will be visiting premiere venues across the country between February 7 and May 31 2009 including The Corn Exchange Newbury, Yvonne Arnaud, South Hill Park's Wilde Theatre and The Connaught Wothing. Applicants will be expected to audition with a modern character and a modern straight piece and sing a ballad and an up tempo contemporary pop song (all unaccompanied.) First auditions will be held on selected dates in September in Egham. Rehearsals start January 12, 2009. Fee:- Non equity fee, plus food whilst rehearsing and accomodation and travel expenses as necessary whilst on tour. Casting Breakdown Bink – Male. A flawed but ultimately honourable character who thinks with his heart as well as his head. Some dance or movement ability and a good pop/ballad voice in high baritone/tenor range. Mad Hettie/ Calliope Queen of the Fairies – Female. A demanding but extremely fun role requiring both classical and character acting ability in order to play both the wise and revered queen of the fairies and her alter ego, a rather disheveled and somewhat hairy bag lady. Mezzo soprano with some movement or dance ability. Princess Verity/Pudding – Versatile female actor to play variously a sweet and loving Elfin Queen and a wacky, fun-loving Sprite. 5’5” or shorter. This part requires a good mezzo or high alto pop voice and a skill for character acting as well as some dance or movement ability. Murkor/Chuckle the Sprite – Male. A machievellian courtier with ambitions to be king. Slippery, cruel and manipulative with a wicked line in sarcasm and a penchant for the black arts. Good rock/pop voice in high baritone or tenor range with some movement ability. King Poop/Jarrow - Male. Skillful character actor required for two very different parts. The first, Jarrow, chef and a slightly camp leader of men and the second, King Poop, the larger than life and highly physical fun loving chief of the Sprites. Tuneful singing in baritone/Tenor range and movement required. Timlin/Elgin/Potz – Previously this role has been played by both male and female actors so it's talent not a particular gender that is required! Playing three very different characters: Timlin, a know it all (somewhat nerdy) worker elf, Potz, a practical minded Sprite and Elgin, a noble and decent ruler (albeit often hypnotized and befuddled by Murkor’s magic.) Ideal for a versatile actor with strong vocals and some movement ability.
